The Department of Food Safety of Municipal Affairs Bureau uses data obtained from targeted food surveillance to carry out comprehensive analysis of the risk factors and hygiene conditions of food sold in Macau. Measures on risk reduction and consumption advice, based on the surveillance results, are provided to the industry and the public so as to safeguard public health.
