With the increasing popularity of food delivery, food delivery persons must also pay attention to the food safety rules when delivering takeaway food in addition to complying with hygiene and epidemic prevention guidelines. Hot food must be kept in insulated food containers, while cold and ready-to-eat food must be kept in cooling equipment to avoid prolonged exposure to sunlight and rain in hot weather and ensure safe delivery to the destination. Furthermore, food delivery equipment (e.g. vehicles, insulated food containers, etc.) must be cleaned and disinfected regularly. If the delivery persons feel unwell, they should suspend food delivery service and seek medical attention promptly.
