Reasons for recallThe CFS collected the above-mentioned sample from a store of the distributor in Tsing Yi for testing under its regular Food Surveillance Programme. The test result showed that the sample contained sorbic acid at a level of 1 430 parts per million (ppm), exceeding the Hong Kong’s legal limit of 1 000 ppm.
